Allie Davis is a University of Missouri Alumna from Chicago, IL. She’s always known that she loves to storytell. It started as a practice that was reserved for her grandmother’s kitchen table. After long days at school she’d come home to her grandmother’s kitchen and retell the dramatic events of a tween. As she explored her academic endeavors and conversed with more professionals, she realized that there was a strong urge to get creative. From there she unleashed her hidden passion for writing, which ultimately led to the start of her personal blog, Letters From A Young Black woman.
