Julián Benito García

Julián is a queer, Indigenous Chicano community organizer from Kansas City double majoring in American Studies and Spanish at Saint Louis University with plans to become a Chicano and Latin American Studies professor. He co-founded the Occupy SLU Coalition to push for his university to divest from the war machine and helped establish the anti-capitalist and decolonial Colectivo Sin Nombre in St. Louis. Julián has been at the forefront of the pro-Palestine Student Intifada and strives to politically educate the Latine and migrant community through radical community solidarity.
