KANSAS CITY, MO – Have you had a chance to participate in Black Restaurant Week yet? If not, it’s not too late. It goes until Sunday, September 11th, and even after its over you’ll still want to pay these delicious Black owned restaurants a visit.

We’ve curated a short list to highlight seven Black owned restaurants in Kansas City that provide a variety of cuisines and experiences. From Caribbean and Ethiopian to Cajun or a Chai Latte, there’s something on this list for everyone.

Jones Bar-B-Q

“Small, sibling-run roadside restaurant established in 1970 serving barbecue & a secret recipe sauce.”
