Killed by the State? Prisoner in Jackson County Detention Center Found Dead Hours After Entry

KANSAS CITY, MO. — A 63 year-old man was found dead just hours after entering the Jackson County Detention Center on Friday.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forté, the prisoner entered the facility around noon on Friday, October 15th.

In a tweet following the tragic death, Forté said the following;

“The sheriff’s office is investigating death of an inmate at the JCDC. Inmate entered the detention center around noon today. Inmate was transported to hospital shortly thereafter where he died several hours later. Will update soon.”

Regardless of the cause of death, this tragic event makes clear that the brutal and hellish mass caging facility known as the JCDC is no place for any human to live, let alone to be enslaved.

This is a developing story.
